Sleek Acid i-Divine Review & Swatches

This is the second in the series of Sleek i-Divine Swatches. Click here to read the others.

The Acid i-Divine Palette as described on Sleek's website "The Acid i-Divine Palette contains a fusion of vibrant colours for the more daring, with bright pinks to luminous greens amongst the 12 highly-pigmented pressed mineral-based eyeshadow shades.  This palette combines matte and shimmer formulations with neon and complimentary shades that keep their vibrancy on all skin tones. The velvet-touch consistency gives full and shimmering coverage to the eye lid for maximum effect. Each shade can be applied alone for a dramatic effect or mixed to create a personalised look."

Let's take a closer look...
The Acid palette seems to be a favourite of most because of the vibrant/neon shades it carries. The neon colours (top row: white, yellow, orange and bottom row: purple, pink and green) are all matte shades. When swatched on their own they were not very vibrant on bare skin but with a base they did pop. I like the fact that they are also quite soft and not dry and chalky.

The other colours carried quite a bit of shimmer and were lovely all on their own. A base would minimise the fallout though as they do seem to be frosty (as I am realising most of their shimmer shadows are)

Overall, very vibrant colours even without a base. Loving this palette because of all the matte formulations. I do wish the matte shades popped as much as the shimmer ones do on their own, but that's wishful thinking as most matte eyeshadows need a little help to bring out their awesomeness.
