18 Again Vagina Cream?

Twice in one day, I must be on a roll. 

Does having sex feel like throwing a hotdog down a hallway? Fear not! An Indian pharmaceutical company hawking a new vaginal tightening gel called "18 Again", which promises to whip aging lady parts back into shape, all under the guise of female empowerment.

In the YouTube ad , an Indian woman lures a man onto a dance floor, loosely stealing lines from Madonna’s “Like a Virgin,” as the couple purrs that it “feels like the very first time.” 

On its website, the company boasts that in addition to tightening, the gel also “helps prevent infections, encourages natural lubrication, masks foul odor, reduces involuntary urine escape,” amongst other surprising effects which are "clinically proven". 

The gel is manufactured by pharmaceutical company Ultratech India. Its all-natural ingredients include aloe vera, Vitamin E and pomegranate.

The company’s website features an impressive FAQ section, including an explainer on how to determine if “you have loose vagina.”

Michelle Obama as Nude Slave??? WTH?

Have you ever been browsing the net or reading a blog and just came across some bit of information that just  made you think, "WHYYY???"" 

It's been happening to me quite a bit lately and I have decided to be kind and share the moments of joy. I will post these under "just plain weird".

Michelle Obama pictured as a nude slave in Spanish magazine Fuera de Serie has to be one of the most inappropriate things I have encountered in a while. While I do understand an artist's need to express their creativity, some things are clearly overstepping boundaries (a nude depiction of the first lady/ current presidents wife definitely is) and shouldn't be done just to boost sales.

 What are your thoughts on this photo?

Jamaica's 2012 Olympic Uniforms

There seems to be a whole lot of hoopla about Olympic uniforms for the Opening Ceremony this year (2012). From talks of whose was made in China, to whose looks cheap to those that are ill fitting. While I understand the need to represent your country on an international level by putting your best face (or foot in this case) forward, I really don't see how any of these things will affect the athletes performance (except for USA with their patent pending, golf ball dimpled outfits designed to shave seconds off their sprint times. I wish them luck, we are still gonna kick ass). 

Nevertheless, here are pics of Team Jamaica's Olympic uniforms that have been criticized mercilessly. I really don't get the big deal. I like the military look. I love the guys' uniforms. I think maybe the female model(s) don't wear the clothes so well (and yes the skirts are a bit ill fitting), and of course in terms of formal factor we are nothing like Team UK who opted for 3-piece suits but at least they weren't made in China (not that we would care). Speaking of which, that shouldn't be a bad thing, Team Hong Kong's will by far be the best dressed at the opening ceremony. Not important though, because even if they were, Jamaicans don't care, cuz we're still gonna kick ass.
